There can hardly be anything worse, when expecting a package, than for it to arrive late or not at all. When planning an event or making promises you need to deliver on your promises to a client. If your banners, posters, flyers or any other item’s delivery isn’t on track, it can cause a huge amount of unnecessary and unwanted stress. And who needs extra stress this year?
Truth be told, delivery is the last thing you want to have to worry about. What’s worse? If you are a retailer and you need your client’s printed collateral as soon as possible, you don’t want to have to explain why their product is late. 62% of online shoppers will refuse to place a second order if they haven’t received their products within 2 days of the stipulated delivery date. This is because any business transaction comes with a high degree of trust.
This is why Printulu offers 6 different delivery options! The variety in delivery offerings allows you to select the best option for your budget and needs. This ensures that you know exactly when to expect the product you ordered. You will be updated every step of the way via email with regard to the status of your delivery. It doesn’t matter which delivery option you choose – you will be kept in the loop.
We always advise adding in a few buffer days when looking at the delivery service options. Artwork Problems happen and you really don’t want to experience the stress of any delays.

What can you do?
As with most things, it takes 2 to tango. All artwork and proofs of payment for your order need to be uploaded before 12pm, in order for our delivery times to be accurate. If this cut-off time has passed, the delivery date will move on to the following day. This is due, in part, to the high volume of orders Printulu’s production floor processes daily. Once production begins for the day, new orders cannot be added to the printing schedule. These orders, therefore, carry over to the next day.
Our 6 delivery options on offer are as follows:
It’s very important to note that each product order has a unique timeframe for completion. Our delivery services are not based on 7 – 10 working days. You must calculate when you need your ordered products and select the relevant delivery service.
This is our famous, highly popular FREE delivery option. For certain products, such as calendars and PUR bind booklets (above 250 units), delivery can take slightly longer, mainly due to the extra processes involved in producing these items.
Our standard delivery is available for every product we offer. Furthermore, our standard delivery across South Africa is slightly faster than our Economic Delivery Service.
Standard + Delivery
This is our mid-level delivery option that is slightly speedier, without the hefty extra price tag. For certain products, such as calendars and PUR bind booklets (above 250 units), delivery can take slightly longer, mainly due to the extra processes involved in producing these items.
Our express delivery option is perfect for those who want to stay a day ahead of schedule. For most of the products, we offer express delivery which is slightly faster than the standard + service option. This excludes more labour-intensive products like.
Express+ Delivery (ONLY JHB / PTA)
Express+ delivery is a few days faster than Express Delivery, however, because we service the whole of South Africa and our production house is situated in Johannesburg, this option has limitations. This delivery option is not available on all products due to some products involving longer processes to finalise. This delivery option is also only available for shipping addresses located in Johannesburg or Pretoria.
RAPID Delivery (ONLY CENTRAL JHB & CENTRAL MIDRAND)
This service is only available for central Johannesburg and central Midrand. It applies only to our more basic product offerings, like business cards, postcards, and flyers. As mentioned above some of our products are more labour-intensive than others. This is due to the added processes involved in their creation, such as binding or die-cutting.
Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery dates when it comes to our design services. Your delivery date will be confirmed once the artwork is approved.

A few points to consider
Ordering online can be slightly nerve-wracking. Here are a few tips to ensure you receive your product at the right place, and at the right time:
- Make sure your delivery address is up to date, with the correct postal code & verified.
- Make sure your email address is accurate. This will be where you receive any updates regarding your order and delivery.
- Make sure your artwork is print ready and follows our artwork guidelines. Delivery dates can only be confirmed after any issues with your artwork are rectified.
- Upload all artwork and proof of payment for your order before 12 pm. This will ensure you receive the delivered product as soon as possible.
- Visit our website ahead of schedule to assess our delivery dates for your desired product.
- Lastly, when it comes to design services, ensure you order ahead of time as these services can delay delivery dates.
Printulu offers 6 delivery options, allowing you to decide which works best for you. Printulu’s delivery dates can vary from one product to the next, dependent on the amount of labour involved in its production, so it’s always a good idea to visit our website in advance, as on each product page there is a visible delivery date calculator which updates in real-time, dependent on your specifications.
